Our commitment
NEU Media Group wants everyone to be able to read, navigate, and use this website, including people who rely on assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of building a good website, not as an afterthought, and we work on it continuously as the site grows.
The standard we target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is a target we work toward across the site rather than a certification, and we review new pages against it as they are published.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading order, landmarks, and descriptive link text.
- A skip link to main content and visible keyboard focus outlines on interactive elements.
- Text and background color combinations chosen for readable contrast.
- Responsive layouts that work at mobile sizes and when text is enlarged.
- Reduced motion support: animations and smooth scrolling are disabled for visitors whose devices request reduced motion.
- Pages that degrade gracefully: content remains readable if styles or scripts fail to load.
Known limitations
Some parts of the experience depend on outside services, such as embedded scheduling and email links, whose accessibility we do not fully control. Some older pages may not yet meet every criterion we target. When we find a gap, we fix it in the source templates so the fix applies everywhere.
Tell us if something is hard to use
If any part of this website is difficult to access, we want to know. Email hello@neumediagroup.com with the page address and a short description of the problem, and the assistive technology you were using if relevant.
We aim to reply within five business days and to fix confirmed issues promptly.
Compatibility
This site is built to work with current versions of major browsers and with common screen readers. It does not require a mouse: all interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard.
